Pavel Soukup is a researcher at the Centre for Medieval Studies (Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences) in Prague, Czech Republic. His research interests revolve around late medieval religious literature, heresy and crusading in Central Europe. His publications include a monograph on reform preaching in late medieval Bohemia (Filosofia 2011), an edited volume on “Religious Controversy in Europe, 1378–1536“ (Brepols 2013) and a biography of Jan Hus (German ed. Kohlhammer 2014, Czech transl. NLN 2015).
