I specialize in medieval rhetoric, especially ars dictaminis, the art of writing a letter. My research interests include the exploration of handbooks and exemplary letters, and the application of medieval rules to those dictamina. I also participated in the preparation of editions of Jan Hus’ work (Magister Iohannis Hus: Constantiensia, Brepols 2016).

I deal with codicology, diplomatic and critical editing of medieval latin texts. I specialize in the period of the Czech Reformation (John Hus, Jacob of Mies) and I am an expert in  critical editing of John Hus' writings . I participated in preparation of two volumes of Magistri Iohannis Hus opera omnia: Enarratio Psalmorum (Brepols 2013) and Constantiensia (Brepols 2016).

I am a specialist in researching medieval Latin and literature, focusing on works related to the Czech Reformation, eschatology and preaching. I am also involved in the critical editing of the works of John Hus and John Capistran.

I am interested in medieval manuscripts and especially in textual production of late medieval Bohemia. My main areas of research include the transmission and reception of medieval Latin sources with a particular focus on textual criticism, intellectual exchanges, and the period of the Czech Reformation.

I teach courses in medieval Latin and Latin medical terminology at Masaryk Univerity. My topics of interest include the Bohemian Reformation, Bohemian-Latin historiography of the 12th-13th centuries and medieval medicine. I am also interested in the problems of critical editing of Latin writings.

My research includes medieval texts containing animal allegory, such as riddle poetry, hagiography etc. As an editor, I am interested in the polemic work of Stephen of Dolany. I also participate in editing John Hus' works.

I studied Philology and Philosophy. My research topics include the long duration of the Neoplatonic tradition, Natural Theology in the Late Middle Ages, and the History of Metaphysics. My focus for the project is the correspondence of John of Capistrano.
