Monika Mansfeld is currently employed at the Faculty of Philosophy and History, University of Łódź as a post-doc researcher. She studied Philosophy and Classical Philology at the University of Silesia, where she obtained her PhD in 2016 for preparing a critical edition of book 7 of John Buridan’s Commentary on the Metaphysics. She has taken part in several national and international editorial projects. Her field of interest includes fourteenth and fifteenth century commentaries on logic, natural philosophy and metaphysics with an emphasis on so-called Buridanism at Central European universities.
